Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as part of Journey's healthcare team; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Direct the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and certified nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and policies; promote holistic care and ensure policies are followed. Participate in admissions, discharge, and transfers, assess changes in residents’ status, notify the physician and family as required, and transcribe physician orders to the medical record and carry out orders. Strong clinical skills and excellent communication are required to deliver high-quality patient care within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
