Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one pediatric home health care for high-acuity patients, focusing fully on the child and their family while applying clinical judgment in a calm, controlled environment. Deliver skilled nursing with the support of 24/7 clinical resources, respiratory therapists, and clear physician orders, while adhering to CDC safety guidelines with provided PPE. Maintain consistent relationships with families and utilize autonomy to manage care plans without juggling multiple patients or constant interruptions. Requires an active Florida RN license, BLS CPR certification, and experience or willingness to train in G-tube, trach, or vent care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
