Job Summary
Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards and established policies in the Cardiovascular, Surgical & Trauma ICU. Deliver patient care and teach through the nursing process to patients of all age groups. Ensure current Ohio RN licensure and BLS certification are maintained. Work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 48-hour pay period, including weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited college/university or institution
- Nights shift availability (7:00PM - 7:30AM)
- Weekend, holiday and on-call rotation availability
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skill in nursing theory and practice of the nursing process
- Ability to direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel
- Ability to maintain standards of professional nursing
- Ability to adhere to established policies and procedures of the organization
- Ability to assist in the provision of care to patients of all age groups
- Ability to meet the criteria established for the specialty unit (SICU)
