Job Summary
Provide critical care nursing for cardiovascular patients involving cardiac surgeries and procedures with a variety of cardiovascular medical diagnoses at HSHS St. Vincent's Hospital. Deliver care to critical and intermediate care patients while maintaining certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Work full-time nights (7 p-7 a) every third weekend with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for ICU or CVICU experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules (Wisconsin)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's of science in nursing
- Critical Care Nursing experience
- Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
