Job Summary
Provide expert care for high-acuity cardiac patients in Cardiovascular Critical Care, including those requiring advanced therapies; collaborate with cardiologists, residents, cardiac surgeons, and PAs; participate in daily rounds to ensure optimal outcomes; manage complex interventions such as titration of vasoactive medications, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management and rapid weaning, IABP, CRRT, VAD, and ECMO; support education and professional development; BSN required or commitments to obtain BSN within three years; Delaware RN licensure or eligibility; BLS/ACLS; cardiac dysrhythmia proficiency; part-time shifts (Day/Midnight), weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
- Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- Two years of stepdown experience required
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Cardiac dysrhythmia proficiency required
- Experience caring for high acuity patients required
