Job Summary
Collect and document patient data, differentiate urgency levels, and evaluate incoming calls to coordinate care plans. Administer immunizations and IV infusions, perform waived lab tests, and manage acute minor illnesses per physician orders. Monitor patient responses, insert continuous IVs, and assist physicians with equipment setup and patient preparation. Screen referrals, schedule specialized procedures, and maintain clean exam rooms while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR card
- Knowledge of physician's office practices and policies
- Strong computer skills for documentation purposes in the electronic medical record
- Good communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership to the nursing staff
