Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, collect health data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care. Implement prescribed interventions, evaluate patient progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Deliver patient and family health education while adhering to quality, safety, and infection control standards. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, current Ohio RN license, and CPR/BLS certification. Competitive hourly pay range of $32.85 to $48.55. Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
- CPR/BLS certified
- Knowledge of triage procedures
- Clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
- Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment
- Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
- Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
