Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, collect health data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care. Implement prescribed interventions, evaluate patient progress, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Deliver patient and family health education while adhering to quality, safety, and infection control standards. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, current Ohio RN license, and CPR/BLS certification. Salary ranges from $32.85 to $48.55 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse license
- CPR/BLS certified
- Knowledge of triage procedures
- Clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
- Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families as to the nature of disease and to provide instruction on proper care and treatment
- Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
- Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
