Job Summary
Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments for cardiac, CVA, and post-op CABG patients. Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team while assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharge planning, and family education, advocating for physical and emotional well-being. Requires current Michigan RN license, BLS-HCP, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- current Michigan RN license
- associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
- IMCU cross-training (within 1 year)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) (within 1 year)
