Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Telemetry/Heart Failure on the Night Shift at WellStar. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, providing patient-centered care, coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team, practicing evidence-based nursing, and supporting education and mentorship within the clinical setting. Responsibilities emphasize population-specific care, interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, patient and family partnership, and adherence to professional practice standards and safety goals. Requires active nursing licensure, nursing degree (associates required), and certification requirements (BLS, ACLS) with a multi-state license as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing
- Registered Nurse license (Single State)
- RN Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS - Instructor/Provisional (preferred)
- ACLS Certification
- ACLS Provisional
- Nurse licensure requirements as per Georgia Nursing Practice Act
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
