Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry/ Congestive Heart Failure

Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients with cardiac telemetry or congestive heart failure using evidence-based practice. Partner with patients and families to set goals, provide bedside teaching, and coordinate interdisciplinary rounds for safe, individualized care. Document patient progress, participate in performance improvement activities, and support shared governance initiatives. Mentor nursing staff and students while promoting recruitment and retention within the team. Complete all mandatory education, competency assessments, and clinical protocols aligned with Wellstar policies and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Work night shifts as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Yellow Tower, maintaining licensure in Georgia and the Multi-state Compact along with ACLS and BLS certifications.
