Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned individuals on the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. Direct patient and family teaching while guiding activities of other nursing personnel. Maintain standards of care and communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Requires current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification, with preferred BSN and acute care experience. Part-time day shifts from 7a-7p.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
- Ventilator Management experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
