Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac ICU/CICU providing comprehensive bedside care, assessment, planning, and coordination of the patient’s plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include functioning as Preceptor and Charge Nurse, ensuring adherence to unit policies, supervising non-RN personnel, and delivering education to patients and families. Requires CT RN licensure and BSN preferred; BCLS certification required or obtained within one month of hire; clinical specialty certification encouraged. The unit focuses on neuro and cardiovascular critical care with devices such as LVADs and ECMO in a high-acuity cardiac ICU environment.
