Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac, FT

Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care. Delivers patient/family centered care, ensuring privacy and a respectful environment. Works within MUSC policies, participates in shared governance, and demonstrates accountability for autonomous practice and professional growth. Coordinates care delivery through care management principles, identifies clinical priorities to improve patient outcomes, and supports education and health promotion. Schedule: 36 hours per week; 7p-7a; every other weekend. License/Certification: SC or Compact RN License; BLS. Physical requirements include mobility, dexterity, reading charts, communication, and infection control compliance. This role is with Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and involves leadership within a high-acuity hospital setting (FMC 7th Floor, FLO).
