Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Mercy Hospital South. Maintain professional accountability for care provision, evaluate the effectiveness of care by other direct care givers, and coordinate patient care with other departments. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality of patient information are upheld while performing duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Obtain and maintain a current RN license and required certifications such as ACLS or BLS within the hiring state or compact licensure. Full-time 40-hour schedule with sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses), OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), PEARS (Pediatric Assessmen...
