Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Full-time, 40 hours/week. Experienced nurses receive up to $10,000 sign-on bonus; new graduates receive up to $5,000. Current RN licensure and BLS certification required; ACLS or other unit-specific certifications may be required. Join a collaborative team at Mercy Hospital South where your voice matters.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
