Job Summary
Conduct patient care and staff management in the Cardiac Cath lab, adhering to policies and regulations to ensure compliance and safety. May serve as Charge Nurse, accountable for professional practice. Maintain valid NM nursing license and obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS and/or PALS may be required. Requires Associate's or Diploma of Nursing, with Bachelor's degree and two years of specialty or general nursing experience preferred. Join Lovelace Medical Center's acute care team providing comprehensive services including emergency care and robotic spine surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
- Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- 2 years of experience in a specialty
- 2 years of general nursing experience
