Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Care

Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting status changes. Perform pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers. Document care administration in patient records and administer prescribed medications while monitoring responses. Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within six months of employment start. This role coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care at Research Medical Center, a 585+ bed hospital offering a Chest Pain Center, Level I Trauma Center, and Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Programs.
