Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Inova Alexandria Hospital's Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. Full-time position (40 hours/week; hours vary) focused on cardiovascular/nursing care, patient education for behavior change, and ECG rhythm identification. Telemetry experience is welcome. Works within a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient rehab setting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend or holiday requirements. Role emphasizes patient education, collaboration with exercise physiologists, dietitians, and behavioral health providers, and adherence to AACVPR guidelines. Requires standing/movement and some lifting; BSN preferred (ADN acceptable if BSN completed within 5 years). Magnet-recognized facility with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support through AHA
- Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing (if RN has an Associates Degree, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date)
