Job Summary
Plan, organize, and direct home care services for individuals and families within their homes and communities in the Austin Metro Area and surrounding counties. Build from community resources to meet client needs while maintaining a current, unencumbered RN license and CPR certification. Prioritize one to two years of acute care experience and one year of home health care experience, with a preference for direct supervisory oversight of LVNs and Nurse Aides. Complete OASIS documentation and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. This role offers PRN status with mileage reimbursement and benefits for a family-owned agency serving Central Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of employment
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
- Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test
- Access to reliable transportation

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program, preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting
- One (1) year of home health care experience, preferred
- Management experience not required, but direct supervisory experience of Licensed Vocational Nurses and Nurse Aides/Assistants, preferred
- Working knowledge of OASIS documentation requirements, preferred
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist
