Job Summary
RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants; ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards; coordinate shift plans, charting, medication administration including IV, and discharge planning; lead and supervise CNAs; perform nursing assessments and maintain care plans; collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain high-quality resident care; maintain confidentiality and uphold Residents Rights and facility policies.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current state license.
- Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
- Good Leadership qualities.
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
