Job Summary

Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and supervise all nursing activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Perform physical assessments, administer medications including IVs, and provide direct care such as catheterization, tube feedings, and wound management. Complete and file required documentation, transcribe physician orders, and maintain accurate medication and discharge plans. Respond promptly to call lights, monitor resident conditions, and coordinate with physicians and support staff to ensure total care regimens are maintained. Adhere to Standard Precautions, fire drill procedures, and facility policies while protecting resident privacy and property.
