Job Summary
Assess patient status, determine priority of problems, and develop care plans for patients in the Progressive Care (Step down) unit. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to administer medications safely, conduct ongoing assessments, and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Serve as the point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments while participating in quality improvement initiatives. Work nights with a scheduled weekly commitment of 36 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- new to practice RN
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire)
