Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time, First Shift at Baptist Health Corbin, KY. Provides care for patients with medical and cardiac diagnoses, including acute exacerbation of cardiac conditions and peri-procedural care for vascular/interventional procedures. Responsible for completing and documenting assessments, care plans, and condition changes; coordinating and evaluating patient care, education, and discharge planning; performing clinical procedures and responding to emergencies; delegating tasks; supporting staff; and serving as a clinical resource and mentor. Maintains documentation, training, and regulatory compliance; adheres to safety responsibilities and initiatives. Promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional development. Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
- Current Kentucky RN license or work permit
- BLS, ACLS, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, NIH Stroke Certification, Glucometer Training, 12 Lead Training, Aegis/DY, Nurse Wound Care certifications (may be obtained within established post-hire timeframes)
- Ability to supervise LPNs, CNAs, Techs, Unit Secretaries, and Clinical students
