Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular, Thoracic Telemetry unit provides professional nursing practice centered on healing and wellness. Responsibilities include coordinating and providing direct patient care, facilitating admissions and discharges, and delivering patient and family-centered education. Candidates must have a current RN license or work permit in Kentucky, and a degree in nursing. Basic life support certification is required shortly after hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college/university or Associate's degree with a commitment to pursue a bachelor's degree within specified timeframe
- Completion of basic life support certification within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Basic life support certification
- ACLS/PALS/NRP certification
- Successful completion of dysrhythmia class
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must enroll in a bachelor’s degree program within 12 months if they hold an associate degree and have less than 10 years of experience in nursing.
