Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse when needed to delegate tasks. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Manage care across all phases of preventative health, diagnosis, and treatment in a Christian environment. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
