Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and other staff to coordinate care and implement interventions across all phases of preventative health, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Work evening shifts (2pm–10:30pm) for 16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with additional incentives for late-night hours. Maintain full scope of nursing expertise within state Nurse Practice Act standards.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state", "Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications", "An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)", "Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
