Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative health measures for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel. Ensure safe administration of care and educate residents within the full scope of nursing practice. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays. Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to quality senior care in a Christian environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
