Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, managing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providers, families, and direct care staff to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education. Serve as charge nurse when needed, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Deliver services in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment within the full scope of nursing practice. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with additional incentives for weekend and late-night hours.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
