Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Operate within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Work evening shifts (2pm–10:30pm) for 16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays, with additional incentives for weekend and late-night hours.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
