Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement education and treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and residents to plan, evaluate care, and ensure safe administration of services. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Work evening shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, 16 hours weekly, including every other weekend and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state", "Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications", "An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)", "Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
