Required Qualifications

• •Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• •Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
• •Must be available for every other weekend and holiday
• •Must be available for shifts between 6pm-6am
• •Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• •Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
• •Must be able to delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel
• •Must be able to administer resident care
• •Must be able to resolve care and service concerns
• •Must be able to function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure
• •Must be able to practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge
• •Must be able to utilize appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting
