Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health

Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Perform patient and family teaching, document care provided, and monitor patient conditions to communicate with the care team and physicians. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Act as a patient advocate for physical and emotional well-being while collaborating across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharge, and referrals. Evaluate learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, and condition. Requires RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS per unit requirements. Full-time days schedule at Spring View Hospital, a 75-bed behavioral health facility within Lifepoint Health.
