Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in a 29-bed Behavioral Health unit using the nursing process, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, and family while assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Document all care provided and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharge, and referrals. Evaluate patient and family learning needs to deliver appropriate education and advocate for physical and emotional well-being. Requires previous Behavioral Health experience, AHA BLS certification, and a Tennessee or Compact state RN license. Works nights in a 3x12 schedule (7:00pm–7:00am) within Lifepoint Health's network.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- BSN preferred

- Ability to take appropriate action
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee
- Licensed Registered Nurse from a Compact State with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire
- Previous Behavioral Health Experience
