Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health - Maryview Medical Center

Provide direct patient care in the Adult Psychiatric Unit, delivering nursing care according to the provider’s plan of care. Utilize organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement nursing interventions, develop and perform patient care plans to improve outcomes, administer medications (including insulin and IV/fluids), inspect wounds and assist with personal hygiene, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Elicit information from patients and families to plan and implement treatment; monitor progress and report changes; collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. Requires active RN licensure and BSN preferred; experience in behavioral health and EPIC EHR training are noted as preferred or required elements depending on the unit.
