Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health

As an ACT Team RN, provide community-based behavioral health nursing to adults with serious mental health and substance use challenges in homes, shelters, and community settings. Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, track symptoms and side effects, and document care in the Welligent EMR. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other professionals to update medication protocols and care plans; participate in daily in-person ACT Team meetings to ensure coordinated, person-centered treatment. Deliver crisis assessment and intervention on a rotating on-call schedule; educate clients on health management, wellness, and medication adherence; advocate for client choice and connect individuals with community resources. This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating on-call responsibilities; community travel is required. Qualifications include an active, unrestricted NC RN license and experience in behavioral health; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
