Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care in the Behavioral Health Department using the nursing process of interview, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and triage. Perform plan-of-care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Document patient care timely and accurately while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with activities of daily living and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients and deliver age- and culture-appropriate education. Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45pm to 7am with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current Arizona or compact state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Active Arizona or Compact RN License
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Handle with Care certification
- One year of experience
