Job Summary
Provide professional nursing services to persons served by Bancroft, operating within personal license constraints and strict regulatory guidelines. Review and transcribe physician orders into medical records, obtain detailed health histories, and conduct physical assessments including vital signs and abuse screenings. Perform on-site visits to program sites to ensure health, safety, and quality of care, identifying and resolving issues to prevent recurrence. This role supports the Gloucester Adults Program within a nonprofit organization dedicated to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing
- current and valid N.J. license
Desired Qualifications
- Associate and/or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Prior nursing experience working with the developmentally disabled
- Prior nursing experience working with the traumatically brain injured
