Job Summary
Provide compassionate nursing care to residents based on individualized care plans, including monitoring conditions, assessing symptoms, and administering prescribed medications. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants by assigning work, managing performance, and ensuring compliance with facility standards. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care while educating residents and families. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe environment. Requires an active RN license with preferred long-term care experience. Full-time third shift (7p-7a) with a $5 differential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication
- Passion for patient-centered care
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing resident needs
- Must be available for Third Shift (7p-7a)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
