Registered Nurse (RN) - Austin Emergency Department

Assess, plan, educate, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate nursing care for patients while incorporating family-centered principles. Collect and analyze medical record data to coordinate patient care, then re-prioritize and update plans of care based on new information. Identify needs for patient teaching, discharge planning, nutritional screening, and pain management, documenting all actions systematically. Formulate and implement individualized teaching plans and serve as a patient advocate while collaborating with the health care team. Administer medications and treatments timely, evaluating patient responses and progress toward desired outcomes. Requires BSN or RN diploma with Texas licensure, BLS certification, and one year of professional nursing experience.
