Job Summary
Registered Nurse Assistant Nurse Manager for Neuro-Telemetry (Evenings, Full-Time) leads a unit in collaboration with the nurse manager to promote patient-centered care, staff development, and achievement of clinical and financial goals. The role emphasizes mentorship, staff recruitment and retention, governance participation, budget support, and ensuring compliance with licensure, accreditation, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating staff performance, applying lean and quality-improvement practices, fostering a collaborative interdisciplinary team, and advancing evidence-based practice and nursing leadership to deliver high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Nursing or Masters Nursing (Required)
- RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- National certification in nursing administration Upon Hire
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (Required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; relationship building; coaching and mentoring abilities; interest in progressive nursing management; understanding of health care financing, strategy, and operations for running a business unit; data and technology utilization for decision making; knowledge of risk management and regulations/licensing requirements
