Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Surgery

Job Summary
Conduct patient interviews, assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status, and adjust individualized care plans based on mobility, sensory deficits, and pain levels. Administer prescribed treatments, perform grade I-IV decubitus care, and apply aseptic techniques for dressings and irrigations while maintaining constant vigilance over patient safety. Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate procedures, document physiologic and psychosocial status, and provide discharge planning and education. Requires a New York State RN license, preferred BSN within five years, and at least one year of OR scrubbing or circulating experience. Salary range and benefits apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
- At least 1 year of scrubbing and/or circulating in an OR, preferred
- CNOR a plus
