Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Surgery Center

Registered Nurse (RN) in an Ambulatory Surgery Center performing perioperative and post-anesthesia care. Responsible for assessing patient conditions, delivering safe nursing care, coordinating interventions for procedures, monitoring patients undergoing anesthesia or sedation (airway management and safety), administering treatments, and ensuring safe discharge. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams; participates in post-operative communication, chart review, infection control, stocking, and quality improvement initiatives. Flexible PRN schedule with on-call coverage; minimum one shift per month to maintain competency; opportunity to contribute to infection control, quality initiatives, and operational excellence.
