Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily patient flow, deliver safe care according to policies, and maintain documentation of assessments and incidents. Listen to patient concerns, serve as an educational resource on health issues, and communicate necessary information to families and providers. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, maintain professional licenses and certifications, and mentor other nurses through preceptorship.
