Job Summary
Provide safe, quality care in the perioperative/procedural areas by implementing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient responses. Coordinate patient care planning with other hospital disciplines while rotating between the CMHS Ambulatory, Infusion, and Pain Centers. Maintain current CA Registered Nurse License, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with one year of acute care experience required. BSN, moderate sedation experience, and DNV knowledge are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current CA Registered Nurse License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- One (1) year of acute care nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Moderate Sedation experience
- Acute care experience
- American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses
- SGNA membership
- Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word Processing software
- Bilingual in Spanish
