Job Summary
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including JCAHO, HIPAA, and OSHA while administering medications, setting up sterile fields, and sterilizing equipment. Coordinate daily clinical and surgical schedules with providers, document chart notes accurately, and provide the highest level of patient care and service to increase physician retention. Follow policies and procedures to ensure positive patient outcomes, solve problems independently, and assume various responsibilities as determined by Clinical Leadership Members. This full-time position requires an RN license and ACLS certification, with availability for overtime and weekends, and involves sitting or standing for 8-12 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid VA RN license
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Availability to work overtime/weekends as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be able to sit or stand intermittently for the duration of a shift (8-12 hours)
- Push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Prioritize patient care and patient experience
- Ability to succeed independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a plastic surgery office
- Ability to identify/solve problems and think outside of the box
- Multitask effectively and be highly responsive to patients & team members
