Job Summary
Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, and defining interventions while delivering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams to review prescriptions and communicate care objectives, then evaluate outcomes against therapeutic standards. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection-control protocols, medication regulations, and safety laws, while documenting all services in patient records. Keep equipment operational through preventative maintenance and ensure supplies are stocked by anticipating needs and expediting orders. Work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as a Registered Nurse with an active state license.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice
- The ability to work the hours specified
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
