Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health on a part-time 24-hour evening shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) at TaraVista Behavioral Health Center in Devens, MA. Provide direct/indirect patient and family care, participate in the multidisciplinary team, assess patients throughout the continuum of care, implement and document goals and interventions based on psychiatric presentations, and maintain a safe therapeutic milieu. Requires MA RN license with CPR certification; BSN preferred. Knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment modalities and the Trauma-Informed Recovery model; prior psychiatric/inpatient experience (preferred) and crisis/de-escalation skills are desirable. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts
- CPR certification
- BSN preferred
- Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
- Experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient settings (preferred)
- Crisis management and time management skills; ability to multi-task and manage stressful situations
