Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for psychiatric patients. Key functions include maintaining professional knowledge, assuring quality of care, adhering to infection-control policies, documenting patient care, and establishing rapport with patients. Demonstrates strong leadership abilities, good organizational skills, and critical thinking. Requires valid RN license in Pennsylvania, BLS certification, and relevant clearances.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program required.
- Act 33 with renewal.
- Act 34 with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- One(1) – two (2) years of psychiatric nursing experience.
