Job Summary
The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for psychiatric patients, while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include adhering to nursing standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, providing emotional support, and conducting group therapy. Candidates must have a valid RN license in Pennsylvania, and a nursing program graduate degree.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program required
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- One(1) – two (2) years of psychiatric nursing experience
